Regrouping Family

Family reunification is a request that can be made by a person who has a residence permit in Portugal to take their close family members to live with them. To do this, you must meet certain requirements, such as having a valid residence permit, having means of subsistence and adequate accommodation, and proving family ties.

Family members who can request reunification are: the spouse or partner, minor or incapacitated children, single older children studying in Portugal, parents who depend on the resident, and minor siblings under the guardianship of the resident.
